Our range of fire dampers are designed to stop the spread of fire through ducts, walls and floors. The range incorporates features required by specifiers, contractors and fire authorities, and embodies the experience of Advanced Air (UK) Ltd, in the design and manufacture of our fire dampers.
Fire dampers have been fire tested to B.S. 476 part 8 FROSI report No. 6110.
Fire dampers are F.R.C. (NZ) approved for 2 hours.
Casings: are manufactured from 0.75mm galvanised steel
Blades: are specially rollformed from 0.75mm galvanised mild steel
Fusible Link: supplied rated at 70 degrees Celsius nominal

When ordering Fire Dampers and Sleeves we require the following information
· Type (refer to coding below)
· Dimensions - always specify width first then height
· Horizontal or Vertical installation
· Thickness of wall, floor or ceiling
· Means of connecting to duct, both upstream and downstream

Examples of coding used when ordering :
For openings larger than our maximum sizes, multiple dampers would be required.
In a horizontal duct run should the velocity exceed 10m/sec, a spring assisted closure will be required.
All fire dampers must be tested when installed and then tested annually to comply with NZ Building Act and Local Council requirements.
